Not quite a double rainbow,…..but,….we had the pleasure of having 3 herons hanging out near our office on the water. Pretty cool. I have not seen this many visit at the same time. Herons have been somewhat on the decline from my past 3 years here (by observation) and there happens to be greater bald eagle activity,…..hhhhmmmmm?
Corpore Sano rides have resumed on Wednesdays at 1pm. Rides last 1-1.5hrs and will be variable with terrain and tempo. I have included photographic proof of me being on my FOCUS bike. Our first ride was out and back to Hollywood Hill. We had 5 people for a great workout.
Come join us!
Jack LaLanne died today. He was a pioneer in personal fitness and health. Jack LaLanne’s mission is simple – To help people to help themselves feel better, look better, and live longer.
Thank you Jack!
Kari and I had ligament misfortune in Bend OR last week at USA Cyclings Cyclocross National Championships. They were both non-dramatic injuries. Kari separated her shoulder and I tore up my ankle one day after the other. Kari’s bike made it farther into the race than she did. Of course this was a bummer for Kari as she was getting ready to harvest some gold over the weekend of racing. The impact of my injury was such that I needed a crutch at the Deschutes Party. Quite an inconvenience I must say. Needless to say we are gimping around the office this week and doing quite well. Please be comforted in the fact that we are doing our rehabilitation
Kari likes to think that her PT is so outstanding that she can tie one arm behind her back to keep the competition fair.
