A client of mine recently bought a surplus Tyler Farrar Felt bicycle from the Garmin-Transitions team. We had to shorten the stem and change the post to a no offset post to make size appropriate for his body size.

I rode 100 miles from Centralia to Portland. I had a great ride in spite of my lack of training (don’t do this :) ). It was nice not to arrive in Lexington totally out of gas. Congratulations to Jerry Baker who completed his 31st STP. Amazing!

It delivered me next to the Xbox Pitch where I will be watching our beloved Seattle Sounders. Amtrak was great! I have also had the chance to take our Light Rail system from Sea Tac to downtown and then an Sound Transit express bus to my home town. All smooth and incredibly affordable. Seattle is getting it together with regards to mass transit!

Seattle to Portland is next weekend. It snuck up reallly quickly. The following weekend is the FSA Grand Prix at Marymoor Velodrome. Before you know it, we will be drinking sodas at the StarCrossed Cyclocross Event in September. It didn’t help that summer started late. This is one of my busiest weeks of the season.
